Error in Linux

Hi,
  I got basesuif2.0.0.alpha.784.tgz from ftp.suif.stanford.edu, and I
have compiled it in Red Hat 5.1(Linux 2.0.34, egcs 1.0.2). But I got
some errors when I compiled pruned_xxx subpackages.
  For example, When I compile the pruned_sty subpackage, the gmake
reports error:
  No rule to make target 'pruned_sty_combined', needed by
'pruned_sty.h'.
  I analyze the Makefile in this package. and can not found how to
produce 'target pruned_sty_combined'.
  Who can help me?
